The City of Sydney has been accused of turning small businesses into a personal PR service with the introduction of new enforcement’s requiring owners to monitor their customers’ travel movements. The City of Sydney’s light rail construction noise and dust is driving customers away from the area. Businesses along the route of the City’s new light rail were warned construction would be loud, with a peak noise of 103 dB. But it is proving to be deafening. Lee Jeloscek reports.
