Cyclist safety will be boosted after the City of Sydney council unanimously approved a plan put forward by Councillor Angela Vithoulkas on Monday night.
In proposing the notice of motion Clr Vithoulkas said ‘the Amy Gillett Foundation has highlighted that new drivers represent one of the most collision prone road users and bike related education for new motorists is desperately needed. My proposal will work towards addressing this issue by boosting driver awareness and cyclist safety in the City of Sydney’.
