There are many plaques placed around the City of Sydney to commemorate the significance of a place, person, event or organisation. Can the Lord Mayor please advise on the following:

  1. When was the last time The City of Sydney had a plaque installed and where was that?
  2. Is there a register of existing plaques, the detail of what the plaque has written on it and a replace or repair policy should they be damaged?
  3. Does the City have a policy on plaques? If so, what is that policy?
  4. Given that there can be construction in areas that have plaques placed already, does the City have a policy which is provided to construction companies or DA applicants in which they must preserve existing plaques or commit to replacing them after construction and cover the costs? What is the tracking method for this process?
